Aura Shards is the sound of the NY Faerie Festival and their music can be heard wafting over us all seemingly from every corner of the land. They are a world fusion duo, dedicated to exploring the captivating soundscape of the Hand Pan (also known as the Hang Drum). Blending this modern instrument with a rich array of ancient rhythmic and tonal traditions, Aura Shards creates an immersive musical experience that is both sonically intricate and deeply meditative. Performing entirely original compositions, the group crafts a sound that is rhythmically dynamic and harmonically lush, yet soothing and unobtrusive—ideal for both focused listening and ambient reflection.
